I keep thinking maybe a prescription medication I am taking maybe causing my 3-4 year battle with depression. I have tried 8 different antidepressant meds. None have worked for me. Some had unpleasant side effects but then again did nothing for the depression. So I have been on 5 different medications for other things from migraines, diabetes, colesterol, reflux and hormone replacement. By the way i have even tried counseling went four visits then the counselor refered me back to my med doctor and told me my depression was chemical and that i need to try more depression medication. So now i have started researching my medications. I found that Zocor has been know to cause depression and fatique in a small number of people. I plan on talking to my doctor about going off Zocor. Has anyone out there had any problem with Zocor causing depression and fatique? I am on 20 mg daily.
