Today I am totally the windshield. I feel like everything is crashing into me.
Just wish I could leave for a little while to a quiet retreat and just BE.

Thanks for thinking of me. Maybe tomorrow I can be the bug>? That is the quirky thing about depression...you switch sides so ugly. One day you are a warrior with the rage and anger that has been deep below for so long that is bursting to get out...the next you could be quiet and withdrawn with not an ounce of energy to spare to even get out of bad. yeah, that's my life...why do I have to live it again?

It might be your life now, but that doesn't mean it will always be that way. Though I know how that feels.
I've got some glass cleaner here, and I'm wiping the bugs away. After that, I"m putting a cover over the car for the rest of the day, to keep those horrid bugs away from you. |

Hi Twisted soul, please understand this is what occured to me when I read your subject line. AND, this is how I feel TOO much. What's the last thing on a bug's mind when it hits the windshield? His arse. Okay, juvenille I know. I guess I know your place all too well. Hope for better days for you.

I have a different take on being the windshield compared to the bug. Being the windshield, you may get hit once in awhile, but you can always wipe yourself off and have a clean slate again.
With the bug...you're permanently toast!
