I noticed that in the mornings I am a little bit better and clear headed than in the evenings. I wonder why this is? I kinda wish I could identify it and hold on to whatever is giving me that little bit of hope so that I can make it last during the day.

I've noticed the same thing. This morning I feel very well, so much so that I'm worried that I may be going the other direction. ( Hope not ) But as a rule, I just feel much clearer and focused in the morning. As the day goes on, not so much. By the time the most important person in the world to me gets home from work, I'm not able to do much as everything she says is coming at me too fast!

In the evening you are tired and everything is always a little worse.. That's all...just realize your feelings are coming from a busy long day and your body is tired as is your mind!!!

hey this happens to me too. for some people they feel foggier in the mornings and better at night. I think we all have our own body rhythm where things change over time.

I'm the exact opposite, when I wake up my mind goes negative. In the evening I am calmer and relaxed. True, we are all different for various reasons. Hang in there, at least you can kind of plan

Interesting. It makes me wonder if there is a chemical difference for some people...whether the mornings or evenings are worse. I'm gonna jump in the shower and hope that calms me a little. That seems to help...wash away the day...

When I am at my worse, I may take 2-3 baths a day to help me feel calmer. Something about soaking in the tub takes the edge off somewhat.

I've often wondered the same thing - my mornings and days are much more pleasant, and that drastically shifts after dinner into a miserable negative space. Happens pretty much every day, too. I wonder what it is?

I've noticed the same thing for me, too. Even when I first wake up and am a little groggy I'm still a bit happier than when I'm wide awake in the evenings. Maybe it's because I am more awake later in the day and my thoughts are able to go in more depth and what not.. I'm not very sure, Best of wishes!

I usually feel worse when I am lying in bed trying to sleep. There aren't any distractions there and I am forced to deal with my thoughts.

yeah I'm much better in the mornings than in the evenings. My (ex)T. however once told me he was the opposite. (I liked that I had a T. who struggled with depression too). I guess it's related to whether you're a morning person or a night person.

I am HORRIBLE in the mornings...my mood is just terrible. I'm in the midst of a major episode right now, and had to get a partial medical leave from work because I am having so much trouble concentrating. (I am going to work at a later time until I get better). I hate this!
