LAst night, while at a baseball game with some family, suddenly got disoriented, confused, and hot. I got up to walk around for a while and ended up back at the seats not knowing how I got there. I had blacked out the last twenty minutes or so. After that, I couldn't make sentences and my mind was a rudderless ship, with every emotion coming through. Became agitated and couldn't remember what I had done that day. Ended up at the hospital. Blood tests and a ct scan showed nothing. It wore off after a few hours. I had this urge to get away from all stimulus, other people, talking, noises and light.

Never had anything like this happened where I was so confused and blacked out for a time. Could this be a panic attack? I was relaxed at a baseball game on a friday night. Sober as a judge the whole time.

any similar instances out there?

I've never had anything exactly like that but I have had disorientation and derealization from extreme anxiety. Panic/anxiety sounds like a good possibility.
Did the ER doc mention anxiety, panic, or stress?

That is odd. And this happened while you were at an enjoyable (exciting?) event. (Could excitement, even pleasant, have been the trigger? Hmmm...?)

I have had "vacant periods" while standing and/or walking, but they haven't been associated with agitation.

George H. is correct; get some informed opinions if possible.

I asked if it was a panic attack and she said maybe. Ill be seeing primary care doctor tuesday and make an appointment with my psychiatrist. I've been pretty depressed lately but at that moment, I was relaxed, well fed, no alcohol and enjoying myself.
Thanks for this!
