So this morning just seemed to be an explosion of all the pent up anger and frustration, coming out of my boyfriend. See, he hates all the things in the world that I do, but he's not so passive about it. After he and I not really talking about it for the past couple of days (due to our living situation, neither of us has a place of our "own" to just go and be alone for a while, so we just don't talk to each other until we calm down), he let it out this morning, and I was just an emotional wreck about the whole thing. These are concepts that already upset me and I don't know exactly what to do about them, so when he brings them up and expresses his frustration and anger with the same topics, I fall apart because now, not only do I not know what to do about it for myself, but I also don't know what to do about it to help him out.
These are very heavy boulders that are weighing down on us, and if we're not careful, they can destroy an otherwise wonderful relationship. I am fearful of that.

Hello & Welcome, Annegreye!

How typical was your "fall apart" reaction to your boyfriend's explosion? Is this the way you usually react to such events?

Your first few posts may lag in appearing; please keep posting.

It depends on the stressfulness of the situation. If it's a very stressful time, then that's my typical reaction. Of course, I don't think it helps that I'm 32 weeks pregnant and worried about all of that too.
Thanks for this!
