Hi, I am new here. I'm wondering if anyone can help me find some other chat rooms for depression - I'm looking for more of an interactive type environment so I can talk to someone right now instead of the forum type set up. I would appreciate any information you can help me with. Thanks so much!
p.s. no offense to this place - it seems like a really great bunch of people with really good advice and support tactics!

I know what you mean. Sometimes you need contact NOW!

I don't know the current status, but a few weeks ago you could pretty reliably find folks here, in chat, around 5 or 6 Pacific time.

Hi...

I'm pretty new here too, and I wanted to respond. I know what you mean about wanting to talk to someone right away. I was searching the internet one night, and I came across this site at www.worldoftherapy.com They have therapists online 24 hours a day in a chat room setting. The cost is $30.00 per month for unlimited access. I don't have to make an appt. or anything. I get in at all hours of the day and night and it has helped me so much! A lot of times I get one on one attention, and sometimes there are others in the room. It's totally anonymous so I feel like I can say anything about me or how I feel without being judged. I hope this helps you! It's been a GREAT help to me! Take care.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
