i want to go to a support group near me but i dont know where to look.. does anyone know where i could look for a support group near me..

call the mental health agencies, domestic violent agencies, rape crisis centers, hospitals and your therapist in your area and ask them if they are running or know of a group that you are looking for.

Try http://www.DBSAlliance.org or http://www.nami.org. Both these groups offer support groups nationwide. DJ

My Support Forums is the online community that was originally begun as the Psych Central Forums in 2001. It now runs as an independent self-help support group community for mental health, personality, and psychological issues and is overseen by a group of dedicated, caring volunteers from around the world.
