I have stopped taking my medication abruptly for abot a week now and the symptomes can be unbearable. The symptomes are as follows but can include others that have eluded my mind at this time. Its been about a week and my sypmtomes have been Brain shocks when i move my eyes and hands, sends a shock like wave in my brain causing nausua, faintness. My increases rapid heartrate, fever, loss of balance and memory (short term) and also mixed moods that range from mixed rapid cycles of sadness, happiness and frusteration. This is not the first time this happens but i want to ask if anybody nows how to make this better? anything to help treat the symptomes when i cannot have my medicine. IT can make being awake sleeping or even just being alive extremly uncomfortable.

Breana, your symptoms sound potentially serious. Would you feel comfortable going to an emergency room or calling 911? Have you told your doctor(s) about your stopping your medications and these symptoms?

thankyou i have gotten my medicine now, i dont understand why it has to be that serious side effects when i stop my SSRI. i will talk to my T about it this week. If an emergency should so occur and i not have my medicine like thi week, i could prolly end up blowing my brains out at the end of week two ithout it.
