not sure if this is in the right place but i needed to find somewhere to put this , after having children have friends over for sleep over i decided today would be a quiet day taking things easy, playing on a quiz that we are taking part in with a bit of music playing , suddenly heard the children next door screaming hubby checked out the back heard friend arguing with her hubby but there was a bit of violance involved so as he was standing out the back i went out the front the children were on there way to me so i told them to get mum for me , this is were i panicked i didnt know whether to go in or shout or phone the police or what as this isnt normal , she came out and phoned the police her self ( our ploice respond diferantly here to domestics) she has a swollen cheek the police arrived and he went with them quietly , but this has set me of what do yiou do it has upset me and hubby as we are only getting over last year were we argued a lot we only argued and we are still not well ourselves , went shopping but felt very sick even trying to make sense of this with hubby was very hard and has left me with a headache

thank you pat just ben , i am glad that i went out when i did it was worse than i thought he actually had a knife to her throat but she said she managed to get a punch in , i havent seen her since yesterday eve and i dont know if hes been released yet or what she took the kids to her mothers so as not to provoke the situation if he came back last night ,
the problem with houses here is they are close togeather and theres is actually attached to ours and you can here quite a bit,
but when discussing it with the only other neighbour who looked to see what the kids were screaming about is when do you interfear when do you walk away like i commented on before our police react diferantly to domestics here they dont allways attend or they dont presss charges unless the other person wants to and we all know if a person is being abused they are normally to scared to press charges, i just hope this was a one of because normally they are a nice couple
