I'm so sorry that happened! It hurts a lot, doesn't it?
But you know, you're not alone. I expect everyone at one time or another has been dumped. I know I have!

I have a first cousin (female) who's also a lifelong friend. Well, when she was in her early 20's she was dating this guy and she really really liked him, and he seemed to feel the same way about her. My cousin even was thinking that he was going to propose to her soon and she was so happy. THEN....he dumped her!!! No warning, no explanation really, he just dumped her and disappeared. Needless to say, my poor cousin was heartbroken.

But a few months later a friend of hers (they're both nurses) said she'd like for my cousin to meet her brother. My cousin agreed only because this girl was her friend and she didn't want to hurt her feelings by refusing. Can you guess the rest of this story?
Yes, all these years later my cousin and her friend's brother are still happily married and the parents of two great kids.

I don't mean to minimize your pain--I know it's real and it hurts a lot. But hey, if someone treats you like that, they aren't the right person for you--not to mention that they don't deserve you!! You deserve someone who will love you and treat you with kindness and respect.

Hang in there--I promise it DOES get better! And don't give up--the right person is out there, you just have to find her!
