I have found that reading peoples stories and different problems can sometimes make me more depressed than I already am. I can relate to the problems and try to help as best can but I feel so badly for some of them that it just breaks my heart and I cry. I just wanted to know if I'm the only one.
Thanks for this!

I am just the opposite. It seems to help me a little to know I am not completely alone. Maybe it is true that "misery loves company."

yes, jelly-bean ... There are times (not often, but there are times) when I am so fragile that I can't read posts here, watch the news, take on anything more.
It's okay if you have to spend all of your nurturing on you sometimes. When you're feeling stronger, you'll have more to give. It's all about balance.

I, most of the time want to leave a reply but can't find the words to express myself. When I do find the words it's after like 10-15 mins of trying to write something. Same goes for starting threads.

I was just discussing this with another person on here a few days ago. And I've seen your posts.. you are so compassionate in your responses. Being that open means that you have to take in the bad while you're trying to do good by being there for others. It effects you, eventually. You are only human. And while it helps me to know that I'm not alone, it also makes me sad that there are others suffering. It's okay to pull away so you can take care of yourself.
Thanks for this!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
