I was in a shop buying some things and i listened to the assistant:"Kids dont need therapist, they need a slap.I usually threw my shoe to my sons."
And the people start to laugh strongly. Very disgusting. I consider that not all kids that go to the therapist are bad, maybe some kids suffer builling, eating disorders, depression, abuses...and serious problems that it could be very disrespectful laughing about them...I think some persons are very stupid and ignorant. I think. |

This woman was dumb for saying that and its not funny. Her kids probably do need therapy if their she would slap / throw shoes at them. You're also right about many other reasons for seeking therapy. I would be bothered at those statements too.

yea dumb
and lynn p is right. those are usually kids like that persons that need the therapy the most unfortunately.

I also think that the mother needs classes in parenting! Those children are undoubtedly being abused!

I totally agree with everyone here. It's the mother who needs therapy now and the kids who will need it later. She should be ashamed of herself.
