I'm really tired of people being so greedy. When is enough, enough? How much money do you have to have until you're happy and can say-I'm rich enough?
People use to be happy with a million dollars but these days everybody is striving to be a billionaire or more. What gives? Why do they need so much damn money anyway? How much stuff can you possibly want? Why not let someone else have a little nibble at wealth. Say, just a million dollars?
Why not let people who are just getting by-just get by instead of making it so very hard for them because the greedy bastards just keep raising prices and ripping people off? Why can't they all just stop being so damn greedy?

Some people are obsessed with money.... with the mistaken belief that it will make them happy.

I believe that joy and happiness comes from helping other people actually.

what about the parties, pheasant hunts, dances, speeches, couch potatoing, etc. that went on before, during and AFTER the hurricanes? and one of the senators, from Oklahoma, made a remark after our horrid tornado that killed so many that the victims didn't need any help. that tornado was three miles wide and nothing was left after it went through. do you think he had a bed that night? i think so.

i just can't get over the separation of the powerful and the people.

Jax, I hear ya. I've been dealing with the same thing myself.

I've been doing a lot of researching on the net lately and even talked to my T about this very same subject matter. My conclusion? America is the greediest nation in the world! No one cares about anyone else's welfare, people would rather just take take take, and it's like it's everyone for themselves.

I'm really sick of the whole thing, too. I'm among the poor, myself. Do people give me things when I need it? Only those that are considered poor themselves. The ones with all the money would rather be killed than spread a little of their dough to others.

Ok, now what is wrong with that picture? I make much less than $10,000 a year. I'd give the shirt off my back to those in need...even if it was the last thing in the world I owned! And those rich bastards out there...what do they give? Criticism?

I think the whole world is greedy in different ways. I had a beautiful home with two cars and enough money, i have lost all that now because of the government in my original country (zimbabwe formerly rhodesia).

I came to england with absolutely NO money at all and managed to get myself a job and a home and then my son came out to join me.

Money definitely doesnt buy you happiness, having to start from absolutely nothing at all at the age of 36 wasnt easy but i did it, now i just need to get myself better and get back into living and not just existing.....

Give me health over money any time!! Because without that life is a bowl of toe nails...........
