I have, and think I prob am again or start of it... Depression again.

But this time it's my mood swings they are scaring me.
I can flip from happy to fuming in the slightest of seconds and maybe not for any reason.
I recently had a few relapses with si, to kind of control my mood.
But I don't want to do that and I know a lot of the time I can control the si.
Just wondered if any one else suffers with these fast changing moods?

Have you been diagnosed with anything? I'm wondering if instead of depresion, you actually are BiPolar. I certainly cannot diagnose you, but with these frequent and rapid mood swings, it sounds more like BiPolar than just depression.

You need to see a therapist. Have your doctor refer you to a good therapist. Your doctor can figure out who is the best to send you to -- and he'll refer you to one. Then you can make an appointment and start sessions, but you need to do this soon, cause the sooner you do it, the sooner you'll feel better.

Talk to your doctor and see what he has to say. I wish you the very best. Take care and God bless! Hugs, Lee

Back in January I was very dark with depression and I thought it could be bipolar cos the mood swings were the same, but as I started to feel better the moods stopped so thought I was just trying to find excuses.

But this time I know the depression is there a little bit, but the mood swings are way to much this time. I can't handle them.

To me the rapid mood swings sound like BPD not Bipolar. I know with myself I will be feeling ok one minute and the next feel like crap, or if I feel slighted I will get angry. From my understanding Bipolar's mood swings are much slower and will occur over a longer time period and BPD's can change on a dime. I know the ups and downs make BPD hell to live with at times.

BPD stands for Borderline Personality Disorder, also referred to sometimes as emotional instability disorder. Another thing that is different about BPD compared to Bipolar is the emotions are more extreme with BPD, not to say those with Bipolar are great. I know right now I'm dealing with one that makes me want to self harm or worse.

Oh god I'm just so confused I just want to cry..
I can't breathe I feel like I'm being suffocated with all these feelings.

I've suffered with periods with anxiety and panic attacks, this is a completely different feeling.
