I took this test that says I might be clinically depressed, but I just don't know. Some of these symptoms could come from other things, right? Have any of you ever take the test on About.com? Did you think it was accurate?

I think it is pretty accurate, because all it does is ask you if you have the symptoms of depression, which are in the DSM IV, so yes it's accurate. If you have a bunch of the symptoms, or a few that are really severe, I'd say you have depression. Because those questions in the quiz are exactly what depression is. Fatigue, feeling sad, worthless, thoughts of suicide, changes in sleep and eating habits, etc. But no one can diagnose you except a doctor. But if you presented this to a doctor and got a lot of them, they will say you are depressed. Has it affected your school or work? Relationships? That's when it becomes a major problem that needs to be addressed.

I think it was a bit vague, and therefore, pretty spot on for me...

I just take tests from different sites, and they all gave me similar results, but it's definitely better to see a doctor for a more accurate diagnose.
