I know that reading books is one of the things suggested to help stave off depression, but for me when ever I finish a book it makes me feel sad and abandoned. But reading is one of my favorite pass times, so how do you feel after a good book?

I agree....I kind of have this sinking feeling whenever a book finishes...Maybe it is a need to hold on to something...I reckon it's because I don't have anybody in my life to whom I can show all my scars that I feel like this when a book ends...Cos when a book ends you know there's nothing more you will get out of the characters that book had...that their story just ended with the book...It's kind of like having selfish people around you...You know you are only going to have some fake laughs and some selfish desires fulfilled when you are with them but beyond that you get zilch! (zero)...

After reading a good book (mostly non-fiction) I feel encouraged to implement and start things I just learned from the books, but I always fail.
