I am not sure what to do because I have a Facebook friend/penpal in another country that I have known for many years even though we have never met in person. Lately she has been extremely depressed and talking about suicide. I have tried to get her to seek help immediately, close to where she lives, and of course have supported her as best I could. I suffer from clinical severe inherited depression myself too. Now she has deactivated her Facebook account. Her profile and everything is gone and now I have no idea what happened. I don´t know if she is alive or dead. I am trying to stay positive but I don´t know how to deal with this. If anyone has any ideas or thoughts, they would be more than welcome to share them.

I am so sorry to hear that your friend is feeling that way. Do you have her phone number or address? Maybe you could call or write a letter. I hope you get some answers soon...

Do you know what city she lives in? If you do, I would call the local police and tell them what her plans were and ask them to do a check on her to make sure she's ok. I'm sure they'll do it. If you don't have her address, just give them her full name, and they must have her address somewhere. Leave it up to them to find her.

I wish you the very best! God bless and let us know what you find out, will you please? Take care. Hugs, Lee
