Taking antidep's and for the first day in a very long time, I feel happy. Weird... I had forgotten how it feels. When one gets off the AD's, do you then go back to feeling as down as before?
Feels so strange to not feel anguish, to not feel like I'm in a deep, dark hole.... |

yes and no... IF you go off the meds too soon, yes you might very well return to depression. It's a medical disorder, and requires time for meds to adjust your brain chemicals... and there are some ppl who will need them for life because their body/brain just doesn't use or make their own chemicals right.
This is the main reason you don't go off them when you begin to feel better. It's because you are on meds that you feel better... and since they helped, you obviously needed them. I'm glad you are having such a good result! TC!
