I need some help with regards to my mums behavior as of late
I will go into brief background. we are going through a child custody case. My daughter was removed from my care because I reported child abuse. She also disclosed to professionals. Long story but Social Services are saying i am a risk because i made a complaint against them for failing to protect my daughter when my ex ran off with her. My council ignored my concerns, but was returned a year later by another council for one of the concerns i reported and now have hard evidence that they are covering up child abuse. I have called my mum as a witness as my mum also heard disclosures. My mum has started becoming very aggressive, she barged into my bedroom while i was asleep shouting abuse at me, shouted at friends etc threw a cup at my friend for no reason at all. This is totally out of character but lasted about a week. She has been moody but this is the worst, becoming violent. I am trying to get my business back up and running but when on phone she will shout in background, without reason. I have also been on phone seeking legal advice and she has shouted in background I dont know what this is or what to do but her shouting is making me boil up Basically i lost my house so been living back with parents and cant get another house |

Can you get someplace quiet for a bit and just try to release your pent up frustrations? I go to a park setting or anyplace where I wont be disturbed and just let myself feel the frustrations and by deep breathing push it out and away from me so I can regain enough composure to face the next round. Dealing with child custody is hugely stressful, it takes a lot of inner peace to get thru it.

I do do a lot of meditation and am spiritual - however the council seem to be victimizing me and said "meditation" is a risk to a child and taking a child to church is inappropriate. SS have ruined our lives

Your mum's behaviour is troubling. Do you have access to medical professionals who could interpret what you are observing or offer other advice? Do you fear your mother may do something to undermine your case for your daughter?
