I really need someone to talk to. I feel like I'm just getting worse and worse. There's no one to talk to though. I try calling friends but they're all busy. I'd call my T but we don't really know each other at all. I'm not sure what to do

I guess there's a chatroom here. Perhaps you could try it, and find someone there. I know you can't see people in the eyes and you don't know them, but maybe you can find there someone to listen to you.
I am a horrible listener and mainly advisor, but I know the feeling, and when you are feeling bad you shouldn't keep it to your self.
Thanks for this!

I sometimes look for an excuse to talk to friends. I used to love it when someone had a birthday party cause I got to go over. I eventually realized that I wasn't actually invited.

Having someone to talk to can be a great comfort. I'm sorry you are so alone. I know the feeling.

I find it easier to talk to strangers. I think deep down I'm ashamed of what I'm feeling and guilty that I have nothing to be depressed about. It's like I'm shutting out the people I love and I hate myself for it.

Most people don't like talking to me. They think I'm pretty weird.

Hey Armygirl,

It's difficult when you want to reach out and talk and people (especially friends) aren't there to support you. Honestly I am a weirdo myself. I consider myself to be a big dork and awkward to boot...and I get teased for my voice all the time...I am not even in highschool anymore...I am a grown woman. I KNOW that people think I'm weird, they've told me to my face. I also feel untrusting of people that have befriended me...like they can actually want to be my friend, or that they just want to use me for something...so I push people away. That's something I am working on. But I guess my point is that there are people that will be accepting of weird people like us, they are definitely out there.
