I think sometimes it takes us a while to really learn things. Don't be too hard on yourself skittles. Start taking the meds and look forward to feeling better. But stop blaming yourself, k?

Maybe a part of you feels that you "should" be better by now. Or that you "shouldn't" even need meds at all why do i do this to myself

Like heartspace said sometimes it takes a while to learn some of life's hardest lessons...... and that is ok.

Try not to blame yourself (grizzly bear calling polar bear growly why do i do this to myself)

Don't be so hard on yourself. You should take your meds no matter what your brain is telling you to do. What might help is to make a list of times you need to take your meds and every time you take them cross that day off or that particular time off so that you can feel good about taking them instead of feeling so bad. Hang in there! It's going to be ok! why do i do this to myself

I know Skittles, I do the same thing several times a year. Then I end up in the hospital, hating myself. I really don't like that clouded head feeling, but now I know its much better than the alternative. Please know I care, and will keep you close in my thoughts!! why do i do this to myself

Maybe because you haven't been able to discipline yourself on this, or "learn" better (like someone suggested) or even remember, perhaps... that this is what you have to do...and to quit thinking you can decide a good solution.

Medicines make ppl feel better, and often OFTEN patients quit taking them, forgetting that it's the very thing making them feel like they don't need them!

I hope you will be able to get back on a good program of medicating ... and know that you are worth it... worth the time to take them, worth their cost, and worth the good feeling while on them! why do i do this to myself
