In life you could say I haven't seen much, never really liked to travel never been on a plane., I mean I took the kids on holiday to the seaside every year which is all but 70miles away but is geared up for a good time. People want to travel the world ?? i don't never fancied it in the least. Take me out my comfort zone and I will be ill, so why do it. I don't yearn for anywhere I like where i live in ENGLAND the green the rivers the towns the people, we haven't got one animal that will eat you or kill you, except the adder snake , but I have never come across one yet. The weather is not to hot not to cold and the beer is great and so are the women. I have owned SUBARU super cars and blasted round the English b roads, no straight roads in England for miles and miles, sat on river banks looking at the wildlife that don't eat you if it got the chance. Turned my garden into a sub tropical dream and love just sitting in it . So have I really missed anything, who know,s I don't feel like I have. Depression robbed me of a lot of stuff , so now my bubble is the coolest place on EARTH.

I think others feel the same as you. It's great that you've found happiness right were you are. Not many people are able to recognize the beauty right in front of them. I know I often struggle with that.

If you don't feel as though your missing out on anything then stay put and keep enjoying the awesomeness that is your little bubble.
Thanks for this!

Thats a cool story sewerrats. I think theres a lot of truth in it. A lot of times Ive taken the travel route and really enjoyed myself but theres something about home too. Guess I always wanted to have my cake and eat it too! I think its great you have a little paradise there! I think for me, its not so much that my head is in a bubble, but the place I live in seems to be its own bubble. Its nice to escape it from time to time and recognize there is more out there and there are millions more choices available than only those available locally.

That's a true achievement. Bravo!
