Last night was my boiling point from so much anger and aggravation that it turned into pure painful sorrow. I was in the shower when my shampoo bottle fell to the floor, scaring me and making me fall. I started bawling my eyes out, not because I fell but because I got scared. Finally after a few minutes I got out of the shower and went to bed. I've never felt so low, I really felt like I was dying, without trying to kill myself. I lied in bed, tears kept coming for hours, so much pain in my body from keeping it all in. I literally felt so much pain to keep crying but I could not stop. Last night was the worst in a long time.

Sometimes a triviality can lead to disorders, tears and terrible inner state. But the tears it's good, you give your negative energy through tears. This is an exemption from the heavy burden on the soul. I hope you feel better.)))

It's the proverbial straw that breaks the camel's back. You just hit your point of no return. It's so sad that you are suffering like this. I hope that last night released a little of the pressure. If the weather permits go outside and sit for a little while. Being shut up all the time can contribute to the depression. Since you suffer from social anxiety maybe a pet would give you an outlet for your love. Parakeets are wonderful for this since they are so social themselves. They need personal attention in order to be happy. Change your living environment. Add color to your living space with wall hangings and throw pillows in bright colors. Buy some plants and place them around your living space. Scented candles lend a mystical feeling to a room. Listen to music. This is not self indulgence. It is therapy.
Something I read today on the Huffington Post said that sitting or standing in a "powerful" position for 10 minutes actually causes the increase in testosterone which makes one feel more powerful! I'm going to try this myself. Why not, right?
I hope you are feeling better this morning.
Thanks for this!

How are you this morning, GenCat? Better, I hope. What's your plan for recovery now?

I expect you're a bit sore from the fall, but you need to try to get moving if you can.

Keep in touch.

I imagine you are still sore from the fall, but you need to get things moving to feel better.

Keep in touch and let us know how you are, please.

I am still alive, but that is all. So numb with no emotion and I keep wondering if that night did me more harm than good.

I don't sound too swift myself posting a question to you twice!

Anyway, I had hoped you'd feel better today.

Some of us, GenCat, use what I call "the lemon thing" to help with bad feeling tone.
The idea is to reduce acidity of the fluids and tissues caused by the acidic ash (or residue) of medications. Sometimes that builds when we take these medications 7 days a week
and sometimes twice a day. It can cause irritability, low feeling tone, and the
emotions just don't like it at all.

Cut and squeeze two fresh lemons into about 4 or 5 ounces of water and drink it; if
you aren't better in 4 hours, repeat the process. That should give you substantial
relief from the down feelings and acidic residue. (Stress is a very strong acid builder
in the tissues and fluids.) Don't give up after the first day if it hasn't kicked in.
Please give it 2 days to fully benefit you if it's going to work. Thereafter, please
use it only occasionally when you feel the bad feeling tone hitting you again.
It does work for some of us.

Despite having fallen last night, I'd try to get another hot shower to relieve the soreness
from the first fall. That will help. But be careful, please! That and the lemon thing may
enable you to sleep well tonight which could be the best thing to happen to you in
the last 48 hours.

Please keep us posted and be careful around that shower, GenCat.

Hope you feel better by bedtime tonight.
