What does happiness mean? I’m thinking the last time I saw my Pdoc and he asked if I felt happy. I said yes because I felt fine at the time. Now I regret not asking my Pdoc what happiness means.

I think happiness means what you want it to mean. It could be a temporary 'I just won something' or an umbrella-like feeling of 'My life is really great and so am I.' Or it could even be the absence of stress/depression. It really depends on your current state of being.

This is what I think happiness is. When you experience beauty, when you get the object that you desire, when you are at peace, when you feel spontaneous open hearted love. At the moment that you experience these feelings there is a kind of letting go where you aren't thinking, you are content just to be in that moment. That moment is what I call happiness and it is completely good. You can trust it because it comes from a deep place within you. You don't need anything outside of you to feel this. It just is. Happiness is worth working for. It makes us strong, and selfless and good. Happiness makes us generous and forgiving.
I hope you find happiness.
