My twin brother moved to Georgia 4 days ago. He already has a date. He managed to do in 4 days, what I haven't managed to do in 21 years. I finally have a day off from work and just like that the depression hits me again. I thought I was finally ok. I'll never be ok.

Had an emotional high today, but when I got home the high took a deep drive downward.

Camping was fun. But scraped my foot and knee up and got a sunburn. Other than that pretty much up. Trying not to think bout work. Need to live in the moment. Really need to sleep though so night all.

I have "up" things in my life, its just the depression numbs the ups, know what I mean?
I had my daughter over for a visit, we went swimming. I went to Church yesterday morning...that was good too. Not really sure what was going on with my daughter. She was rather whiny and temperamental. I had a bit of trouble navigating her seas as it were. But all in all she is still a fantastic kid and a joy to experience. I love her so! |

A little bit better today though there were times I felt like crying, overall better. Hoping this keeps up.. though I doubt so since I'm seeing pdoc and T soon.... *dread*

Today is starting slow but I feel ok. Maybe the down part of the cycle has passed.

I'm getting ready to leave to travel to Athens, GA for a few days on business I don't mind traveling, and I get to eat at my favorite restaurant again! They have the best steak in the universe, done in garlic butter, with roasted garlic cloves on the steak I'll be leaving there Thursday morning and get to come straight back to work, which is fine. I had to come in this morning to pick up the company truck and tie up some loose ends, but I'll be in Georgia by the end of the day

Gout is back again. Different foot this time, it started Thursday night. The foot is feeling better today, but I now have a very sore and swollen knee. Yay...
I'm 100% sure my new medication is working on some level. I haven't felt like staying in bed for a week or so. My mood isn't bad either. Yay! I've decided to do the mental assessment that my therapist is pushing for and have stopped panicking about it. I see her wednesday, I hope I can work my leg enough to drag myself in there. |

My asthma is acting up and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. Suck on my inhalers, I guess. The weekend went OK, but I'm rather jittery today. Maybe if I just try to concentrate on getting one thing done, then another, I can go home and try to relax.

The day started out really well, considering it was a Monday. I spent the majority of the weekend resting so I could get well, and I finished the cover letter and submitted the application yesterday for a job I really want. By noon my cold symptoms came back, and right when I was thinking about asking to leave early, we got busy. I ended up staying late helping a customer way past when my shift was over. So the up was that I got an hour of overtime today, but I feel like crap.
I also cancelled my appointment with T this week because I didn't want to infect her. I'm also not up to the drive to her office. We'll see how I feel tomorrow. Hopefully I can keep it at bay with cold meds and plenty of sleep. |

Went back to work today after taking Friday off and having the weekend off. It was a very busy day today. Did a lot of coughing from the cold that I had. Just took a bike ride after work today.
