just try to go with it alf. depression cannot be hidden away. unfortunately you have to deal with it as and when it happens so just allow the world to pass you by for a short while, allow your mind repair itself and do what needs to be done. dont disconnect yourself, that will make it worse in the long run.

what is Dysthymic Disorder, could you possibly explain a little about it to me please. thanks.

keep up the therapy, its a good thing to do, and dont worry about crying yourself to sleep, if you feel like crying, let it out and cry yourself to sleep. at least then you clear your system and get some sleep.

take it easy alf and you are in my thoughts

I hope that you get feeling better soon! I know it is tough to deal with things, but you just have to deal with them one thing at a time. Maybe going out for a walk will help you to feel better. My thoughts are with you! *hugs*

i have tryed lots of things, and no matter what nothing works. The more time i have to think the worse i am. If i keep from thinking at all and shut down then i don't think about it at all.

I think too much time on our hands tends to make us feel worse. It does me, anyway. I find I tend to mull over things. Are there things you can force yourself to do? Once you try, you may find you feel a lot better. I know I have, when I've been in that stiuation.
