I've been seeing the same MD for almost a yr & have been hospitalized 3 times. He wants me to see someone else BC he thinks maybe they can help med wise. I don't want to see a different MD plus the new one is 11/2hr away. At first I thought I would be going to get recommendation but he said no. Right now my thoughts are that I will go if my current md will follow up but not go if I have to switch. I just won't have psych md. I'm feeling so down right now ESP w/ being off meds I don't know what to do

Hello & Welcome, Twigg123!

Your current MD, is he a psychiatrist or a vanilla medical doctor?
This different MD, is he/she a psychiatrist?
Who decided you should come off meds? Did they taper you off them?

No need to answer these questions if you do not wish. These are thoughts that jumped at me from your post. Please keep posting.
