Hi!
Amazing how one can be so up all day. On the west coast, it was sunny today...people were so friendly everywhere and I felt quite connected to others.

Yet, on coming home, I noticed that other than being fatigued, I felt deflated, down and really sad. Part of it has to do with feeling alone at times I realize; Part of it is pressure from outside sources....company coming soon and having ADD and depression....there can be a lot of clutter, and it's difficult to think of tackling it before company arrives.

I've been trying to stay positive, looking at all the wonderful small events during each day that make life good....and yet my mood can change so quickly if stressed. I even got exercise and sunlight today...so I did what I could today.

I even feel that what I'm writing is really mundane at the moment....yet I usually love to write and can be really creative and fun....but not tonight. However, I just wanted to let you all know I've joined, and this is the most positive place I've found yet to express my feelings and to support others.

Time to curl up with a book tonight I think!!!!

Thanks for reading.... Glad I joined PC a few days ago...but quite down tonight

Hi, bonji, welcome. I'm originally from Cailf. & now live in the Midwest due to my husband's job moving him. My first yr. here I got very depressed, partly because I missed all the sunlight & great weather in Calif. I now sit under one of those full spectrum lights in the winter (plus take my meds)--Suzy
