Hi all -

I went to the Dr's today and when I told her I have extremely loud tinnitus she told me I may be losing my hearing. This is on top of having a blood clot. I don't think I need to hear this stuff. I'm older and have a family to support, but fear I'll be losing my job soon due to the clinical depression I have. It's Friday afternoon and others near my office are happy making plans, while I sit here in this lonely office (I'm the only one working in my group here now - others have quit or retired) wishing I had SOMETHING good to look forward to. I wish I could be my old self. Am on Celexa 30 mg / day, as well as cholesterol, warfarin (for my blood clot), ulcer medicine for Barret's esophogus. I guess I haven't taken care of myself over the years - and now it's all catching up to me. Lost my brother a few years back to cancer, and it was similar to what Barret's causes. OK, enough whining for now. Just wish I could be happy again, like I'm sure most of you do!
Hugs from:

Doesn't sound like you are whining to me ... just sounds like you are reaching out for some support like many of us do. Hugs to you.
