I am SO not a girly-girl, and most of the time I can't stand to wear jewelry, it makes me uncomfortable -- I even have a hard time with a watch. But I think I am going to buy this, as my own private rebellion against my lifetime of depression.

necklace

I want to meet the person who thought of this. what will they think of next?

YOU asked - What will they think of next? - well read this.......

Think you've seen it all when it comes to cosmetic surgery? (think again)

Eyelash Transplants Hit the Nip-Tuck Menu

Eyelash transplant surgery wants to become the new must-have procedure for women -- and the occasional man -- convinced that beauty is not so much in the eye of the beholder as in front of the eye itself.

....... at $3000 a pop - per eye. Eeeek!!! what will they think of next?

I think the eyelash thing is sooo cool...I want a total brain transplant...anyone know where I can get one...cheap...I am totally broke. Question for anyone out there...can depression make you spend money...or be irresponsible with it...I am in debt and slowly crawling out....I have no one to blame but myself but I definitely think my dep. made me go out there and spend like there's no tomorrow.

YES - YES - YES.............................. and YES

Many people who are depressed use shopping as their drug of choice..... for numbing their inner pain.
I went thru this for about 2 years during my mental break down and my husband did not mind for it seemed (notice I said seemed) - seemed to make me happy, if but for a day.

The only problem with this issue is that it only helps for the day or the hour.... then one must return to their drug (shopping) to get the high again. I was lucky in that while my husband did not mind - we agreed together that I would stay with in the limit on one of the credit cards and not use any of the other ones..... and I am proud to say that I kept my word, even if I did max out that particular card.

I still shop some times to feel good about me, but now I pay cash and limit my spending to once a month and with an agreed upon amount that I am allowed to spend before I head out the door.

Thanks, I keep thinking why do I do this, but I have it under control although it is extremely hard...I guess a tough wake up call has done it for me. I am now trying to clear this all up with my creditors who are working with me...and my daughter (bless her) is handling our spending until I can get my act together. What would we do without those who love us no matter what
