Having been forced to endure circumstances beyond my control since birth, I have come to realize that my psychiatric condition is one that is best managed by listening to my own personal consciousness. Many songs discuss it... Pink Floyd's "Brain Damage" for one - ...there's someone in my head but it's not me. We all have this person inside of us, which is really just our personality asking us to be what we're supposed to be in life, regardless of what others say about it... and in total denial of what others say you "should" be. I've come to understand the mission of life is to overcome personal "demons" or negative emotions such as, "I'm not good enough" or "I don't have the confidence" or "They're all going to laugh at you". Your consciousness will tell you that in essence, when you get down to it... you really DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT OTHERS THINK!
You don't need medication... but might need therapy to discuss it. None of the doctors I've visited have ever truly asked if I eat and exercise appropriately... why? BECAUSE DIET AND EXERCISE are the biggest enemies of the medical profession, especially as it relates to MENTAL HEALTH! What you definitely need is a BIG PAIR OF BALLS (or.. the female equivalent thereof) because.. as Yoda said when discussing the fear of the Force... if you're not afraid "YOU WILL BE". Imagine the power that overcoming that fear provides. Never be afraid of the voices in your head. The negative ones are meant to push you to BECOME, and the positive ones are meant to REASSURE YOU! You can't lose, if it's on YOUR TERMS. Now tell me... "Who's PINK?" |
