So I have been struggling bad with my depression and anxiety. I am seeing my psychiatrist on wednesday to do a med change. I am nervous about it but hopeful. My boyfriend just broke up with me because he couldnt handle my stability. It has really been killing me but I have found some supportive friends that are helping me. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope the med change works for you. Sometimes it take while to find what works.

Sorry your bf couldn't handle your moods. It's really hard on people that don't understand.

Hope you have a good Thanksgiving..

Court, how did you inform people of your depression (What steps did you take)? I may need to do this.
I have only reached out to someone I know mainly from online conversations.
It's hard I don't want to scare people away I have few friends that could support me.
Everything should work out some people do understand what people are experiencing, suffering under severe depression.

I didn't tell anyone at first actually. My family found out when I was put in the hospital on a suicide attempt. After the support from my family I just straight forward tell people about my depression. Sometimes it is awkward and sometimes people cant handle it, but then you find out who really is there for you, and its nice only having those good friends around who you know will answer your calls in the middle of the night
