I'm a freshman in university and my first semester I took 15 hours but by the end of the semester my grades look like this: B, D, D, F, F. I have been too depressed to apply myself and there's this huge weight on my shoulders now and more depression from feeling like such a failure. I'm already enrolled to attend spring semester classes.
What should I do and is there any way I can just have all of my grades from that semester just completely removed from my GPA? Or should I just see how this semester goes... or perhaps just withdraw from university completely? It's quite expensive and my mother shouldn't have to waste her money. I don't know what I should do, please give me some advice about this, it sucks when I have social anxiety and I'm too anxious to call anyone to ask. |

I'm sure the rules vary between schools, so I would suggest talking to your advisor. If you aren't getting help, your school probably has a mental health service where you can see a therapist for no additional cost. I wish I had taken advantage of what was offered when I was in university the first time. Can you do one or both of those things?

In my opinion.... do not worry about the grades.
Just "get the piece of paper" that you hang the wall. The rest does not matter that much. |

I would go see an advisor or the disabilities center at your college. My best friend, may she rest in peace, flunked all her classes when her father passed away and after talking to an advisor they changed her grades to incomplete and she was able to re-take them.
