Hey,
I've been on lexapro for 3 weeks now. 2 weeks on 10mg and 1 week now in 20mg. My depression is worse, i have literally no energy. I am staying in bed all day, every day. I am desperate to get better, it feels so bad. That everything I try to regain my energy fails. Will this med help me? How much more should I wait? I am really hurting. And christmas is coming and I don't even have the energy to buy gifts. Please help! Thank you!

I recently had an increase in Lexapro. It took at least a week and a half to start feeling anything different. I do feel a little bit stronger everyday. I would think it would kick in soon. Hang in there. I would maybe call your prescriber and talk to them about it if nothing changes soon.
