I hear you. My depression has come in five month cycles for the past 20 years. Sometimes I'm at a total loss as to what to do. When I'm down in it, the meds just don't work, and I've been on most of them. Therapy works to a point, but not a whole lot. I just wanted you to know you're not alone. It's hard. So hard.

I wish I had some advice for you but I'm in the same place myself right now. I've tried more meds than I can keep track of and nothing seems to do anything. Frustrating is what it is

I am with you! I know how you feel! It took me and my provider a very long time to find the right combination of meds...Don't give up! I know it is frustrating as can be....but you will get there friend! I am no doctor, but I can share with you what I take at the moment:

Effexor XR 150mg
Risperdal 2mg

These have worked better than any for me! And I had been on I know, all of them!

Hang in there!

I feel ya. I've been feeling better for a few weeks now and am spending my time wondering when the next crash will be. I am working on feeling hopeful.

Do you know what may have caused some of your depression? Was there a trigger that started this? Do you have strong relationships with people in your life? I find that having people to talk to is very helpful. Have you tried meditation? Being mindful might help you. Do you exercise or do anything to release endorphin's and serotonin? Does venting and talking to people help you? Can you ask for help?

Sorry, that was too many questions. I am just trying to get you to think about some things, even if you don't know the answers. I wish you the best. We are here for you.
