I mostly feel indifferent to how others feel. I get annoyed when someone tries to talk to me. Or I get anxious. I get angry easily. People piss me off. I don't trust them. They're backstabbing, annoying and idiotic (most of the ones I met). Yet I have this emptiness inside of me and it depresses me. I don't want to be this way, but I am and there's no way I can defeat this zombie-like feeling.

Has this been a recent event or has it gone on for a long time?

Hi When something is troubling you inside thats when you tend to get irritated. Even simple conversations can trigger a sudden burst of anger and you may want to snap at someone. 1st try to find what is bothering you and address that.

I desperately want to connect with a human being but I can't. I'm so detached from people. |

when you say you are desperate to connect, what is your expectation? what type of people do you want to converse with? should they be non-judgmental, non-arrogant type?
i am asking these questions so that you can think and identify the kind of people you want to interact with. connecting with people comes when you share common interest. if you have hobbies then see who shares similar interest in it so that you can develop a friendship. seems someone must have betrayed you in the past which makes you angry with people. forget that and try to appreciate the goodness in people. |

I sort of had the same problem. I would lash out a people for no reason and thought of them in the same way. That changed when I found my people. Meaning people that they are like me. People I can carry on a conversation. We have similar interest and points of view. The problem was I didn't fit in with the usual day to day people. Everybody else is talking about sports or cars. These thing just are not of interest to me. As soon as I found someone someone to talk to the problem went away.
