I stopped taking my medicines because they make me sleepy. Its been a few months without them and sure i feel sad all the time but at least i can concentrate again. I just started college in the fall and almost failed chemistry because i was so tired and my head felt like a cotton ball. My doc changes them but it doesnt help. Maybe i better off without, at least ill pass chemistry.

Eternal sadness

Hi there, and welcome to PC. I just saw this issue with your medicines, and wanted to say, Don't all meds have issues, and the more you have to take, the worse things seem to get. I am no stranger to my dr.'s over the last several years just keep taking me off 1 thing, and replace with 2 others. Dont think you are alone. My dream is to get off all the meds, and see who I really am. Hope that made soom sense. Sencerely, Guy W.

hi jleigh, welcome to PC!

does your doc know that you're off meds? i guess what we can do is list out the pros and cons.. and if you think that your health is more important, then i think you'll know what to do. are you in T? maybe T would be more helpful for you.

i find the sedating meds activating for me and the activating meds sedating. so i'm kinda opposite.

hoping you'll find the right answer for yourself.
