I would really like to see a therapist. I have had depression since i was 15 and have been on meds ever since. i have tried about every med out there and finally about 3 years ago seemed to get on a med that was right for me. Now i am 32 and really starting to see myself get sucked into that black hole again. But this time i don't have my parents insurance to cover any of the costs. I only make about $500 per month but really need to see some one. All of the free clinics seem to have wait lists for months. I am afraid if i don't get into someone soon it will not be a good end result. could someone please point me in the right direction.

I'm in the exact same boat that you are. I've been looking for help and have found two possible therapists from this article. One of them is affiliated with Mental Health America. I'm going to try calling them tomorrow.

hi. i had that problem so i started sending emails to psychs asking them if they could reduce to price... eventually i found a mental association... im there for free. good luck

p.s.: it really sucks when we want help, are fighting for it and dont get it. while others don want it so bad and have it.

I have been out of therapy for over a year due to the same circumstances. I have manage to keep my meds going, thanks to generics. Hope you find help soon.
