I am not sure if this goes here, but has definitely made me even more depressed than I was. Yesterday I was at my boyfriend's house and we were going to the dollar store. I drove up to the stop sign on his road and we saw one of his cats squished on the highway. Both he and I are really attached to our cats and it broke my heart to see that, knowing just last week I was hugging on that cat. I know life is short and I'm trying not to think about it but my brain keeps throwing up that image of what I saw. I wish it would stop. I really do.

I'm so sorry.
Depression affects mourning, too.

Peace.

Not sure if this would go here, possible trigger

I'm so sorry. It is so hard to lose a pet. It's ok to mourn. Please try to realize that some of the pain will go away . . . little by little. Good luck on your journey through your depression.
Thanks for this!

I'm sorry as well. I think that it is important to mourn the loss of the cat. Let yourself feel the feelings.

I am really sorry for your loss. Cats are companions and are important to us. Be kind to yourself and let yourself grieve.
