Well, work with your doctor and hopefully the confusion will end. There are self inventories here on site (Click on QUIZZES up top) that might help you..also resources that can educate you more.

I hope you find what you need at PC hi

i did read about the bipolar on this site.to me and everyone else in my family they said and were saying it not possible that i bipolar, but that not what my doctor is saying.i told him about my depression and that's it.i don't have mania.so why is he saying this?i didtake a bipolqar quiz twice it said no bipolar. i also tokk a schizopehrenic test it said no schizophrenia too.so i can't go buy the test.

Ok. Well then, I think that's a good argument to discuss with your doctor. I'm not up to date about bipolar disorder and how someone can be depressed only but still bipolar. (Uni polar?) Anyway... try to deal with the depression, that's plenty imo! There is a listing of the most common cognitive distortions (thinking errors) posted at the top of the Psychotherapy Forum.... those can help bring you up from depression some. hi

I hope you are doing better. We all have problems in different ways and I do know about depression. I'm so sorry you have it.
Take care and sounds like you are doing the right things.
