My depression started in 2012, now my depression is much worse.
Is this possible or am I just making things up?

It's very possible and I doubt very much if anyone would want to make anything like that up. I wish you peace, power and healing

Everybody is different, and your experience is your experience. There are different terms and descriptors for depression to describe the different patterns that it can follow, because there is a lot of variability. If your depression is getting worse, or even just not getting better, that does mean that you need treatment to help you to recover from it. Or if you are getting treatment, it could be a sign that something needs to change in your treatment to make it more effective.
