Prettily said.

I don't really like it, no. But I like it's familiarity.
Thanks for this!

Well. It certainly seems to like me even if I don't like it very much. It's calming now and then but I would much prefer joy. Generally I find myself feeling particularly angsty and melancholy at night so I've been trying to go to bed earlier to avoid it.
Thanks for this!

I like it...it feels like water to me, but as I had drank it and calm down my thirsty (???). When I started feeling like it I think I can made some good writings, poetic and metaforic ones. It gets easier to feel, to talk and to think. It gets easier to find myself. The only books I'm still able to read are the melanchonic ones.
It's not like feeling sad it's more like feeling you are a sad soul. For me it is, at least.

I like it because I learn the most about myself when I am morose and despondent.
Thanks for this!

Yea I know what you mean. When the feeling comes, thoughts and ideas seem to flow better and in a much more mellow melodic way. It's really odd to me almost like being in a different world when totally engulfed in it.

Sometimes it seems like an old friend, and I take comfort in it's familiarity.

But then I realize it's not really a friend and it's bad for me because it takes me to places I shouldn't go.

I embrace, the familiarity of melancholy. I spend these moments, learning about myself. Moments, can be days or seasons. Adds depth and dimension.
