I was fine for a few days, i rarely cried, and i was able to do many things. Now I feel like i've been buried again. It's too painful. I feel like nothing can help. yes i'm seeing a therapist. My depression won't stop.

Depression rarely just stops and goes away. Sometimes it is always there and sometimes it comes back when you least expect it. I think most of the time people want to cure their depression but honestly sometimes depression cannot be cured it can just be treated. Are you on any medications?

Maybe if you write things down you can see what is going on. I am a firm believer in letting myself feel the feelings, so maybe give that a try.
Thanks for this!

No i am not on any medications. I just go to psychotherapy. I'm really scared of side effects that it might make the illness worse.

Sometimes you need to try meds....I wish I didn't have to live with them and I do keep trying to go off them, but sadly I don't work without them.

I am not a meds fan, except that they changed my life. I'd take side effects over melancholia any day
