Hi
Im Jake i live in Croatia and im 15 years old.
When i turn 18 i plan to leave Europe and pursue my dream of becoming an actor in US(Los Angeles)
Of course i heard that LA is expensive so im planning to reside in Chicago or somewhere cheaper.
I decided to become an actor because of Taylor Atelian
I dont know why but she gave me inspiration and my dream is to one day when i and if i succeed meet her cause she is perfect
I can't describe the way i feel about her.I mean im not
a perv,im 15 and im guessing that this is cause of puberty.I've had the same thing with Ariel Winter
I cry everytime i think:"i won't get green card"
Is it HARD as people say to get green card and naturalization ?
I plan to attend acting schools in US.
I WILL do AnYThing to succeed. My english is perfect(grammar errors every now and then)
It makes my wanna cry when i think that its only my imagination, tell me that its possible for me to make it out there.Croatia. has worse financial status than favela in Brasil.
Is my dream as i speak of it possible?
End of the line My goal is to meet Taylor even if it lasts 1 min

hi jake
there is nothing wrong with having dreams to aspire to though becoming an actor is challenging. you do have a better shot at getting your green card. it is best that you not limit your goals to becoming an actor alone, but have a more attainable goal for your education in mind with a job you can depend on until your dreams of becoming an actor can come true. it will be easier to get a green card being an engineer than an actor. welcome to psych central. you will find that we have several forums where you can post about your concerns and receive feedback from other members. you will get a lot of support here. again, welcome

Hi Jake,

I agree with Kali. Complete your education and become certified in a second skill while working on your acting. Sometimes our dreams take a little while to be realized, so a second skill will come in handy for income earning if necessary.

And please, never lose sight of your dreams, no matter how many obstacles you face. Your dreams will keep you motivated.

Of course and by all means, strive for your passions in this life

I would advise not to live in Chicago, however...there is so much violence there, sadly.

And please....I beg this of you....please never use anyone to get the green card, OK ? I've been thru it and it destroys lives. I'm not saying you are capable of even doing that to someone, but sadly there are people who are. I'm just throwing it out there. Marry for true love if you marry. Please.

I wish you a lot of fun and luck! I hope your dreams come true! I really do
