I have this too...apparently suicide idealization is normal to some extent but I'm not sure..

Depends on how much time you give those thoughts and if they interfere with doing the things you need to do on a daily basis. Have you shared this with your T or Pdoc?

For me, I know that there are certain levels of suicidal ideation. And by the time it gets to thinking about it, with a plan, many times a day...that is bad news, and it means I need to get help. Even if I don't really plan on doing anything, just the fact that it's there is enough for something bad to happen (and I'm speaking from experience here).
Having the occasional thought of dying maybe once a yearish is normal, but several times a day...that's worrisome. I hope you are able to have the strength to tell someone. I know how hard it is...but it's SO SO important to speak up about!! ![]() ![]() We are here for you!!

I've had thoughts about it myself. I have never come close to making an attempt. I feel like I wouldn't know how or not have the courage to do it. Unsuccessful attempts are much higher than the suicides that seceded; that's what scares me. There are times when I think about when I'm not depressed; and not thinking that I want to be dead.
Very often I think about "floating" out of my body and going higher; then see the earth getting further away. I suppose lots of others think of it that way. |

For me having suicidal thoughts is a sure sign I am in a deep depression. Having plans is even deeper. That is when I really need to reach out for help. I would encourage you to tell someone and seek professional help.
