I have had many poor days and had many of you support me through some mighty dark days.

Yesterday we had a death in the family (it was expected and we are dealing with this okay). Despite this sad time..... at this very moment, I feel mentally better than I have for quite some time. (I hope that does not sound sick or unsympathetic).

The point of my post is to hopefully return a small amount of support to all of you. I hope all are doing well, or are on the path to recovery. I hope you all get the opportunity to get outside and enjoy some warm sun on your faces and listen to the sweet sounds of birds singing to you. I hope you feel warmth in your soul. And the love of Christ.

Gods blessings to you all and Happy Easter.

My condolences for your loss. You are sounding like you're doing very well from your post though. Congrats! You have a wonderful Easter too. Nice that it's finally warming up a bit in our state.

Hi UM, again condolences to you.
Even if a death is expected it can be hard at times and here for you if you need it.
But really glad you're feeling a bit better, and you deserve as much credit as anyone else on that!!
And what's all this about: "hopefully return a small amount of support to all of you"!!!!
You give lots of really helpful support to lots of people on here all the time!!
But nevertheless really good to have such a positive thread, THANKYOU!!
HAPPY EASTER right back at you!!

Happy spring, UM! Thank you for your greetings!

Your reaction to your family's loss does not at all sound sick or unsympathetic. In my own way I'm grateful this loss was both expected and shared in such ways that its sadness was more constructive than destructive.

Peace to you.

Condolences, glad you're holding up ok

Irrespective of my beliefs, the wife still insisted on me going with her to watch the 'Christ at the cross' story that was being held in the centre of our city. Was interesting and I know she was pleased that I went with her without grumbling too much lol.

Happy Easter chap and I hope this period of calm is lasting for you.

UM--sorry to hear about your family member passing. Glad you are coping well with it.

I too have had many dark days. There are some very supportive individuals here. I have read many of your posts and you are to be commended for offering support while in the midst of those dark days.

So--right back at you! Your holiday greeting is totally beautiful.

Just an observation--when I have too much free time where I am focusing on myself, that is when I start to ruminate about stuff. When I am focused on my care-giving, I am mostly ok. Early morning and after work are the hardest times for me.

I also wish you Gods blessings today and every day.

Um, it is very sweet of you to think about us at a time like this. I understand that sometimes when a person is sick enough it is a blessing for them to die instead of suffer. Glad you are in a good place. You give lots of support and it is appreciated. Hope you have a good Easter as we'll.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose a loved one even when it is expected. It was this way with my parents a few years ago. They were so sick it was actually a blessing when they passed away. You will still miss them even though you know it was their time to go. Thank you for your beautiful thoughtfulness and caring in the midst of your own difficulties. Have a beautiful and blessed Easter.
