So on top of all of the other crazy negative things running around my head, now I've got an additional worry I can do nothing about. Just super. I was linked an article yesterday informing me that I was born and spent the first 6 years of my life living on a massive toxic waste dump. One bad enough to be a national superfund site. Now I can't stop thinking if that's a reason for some of this, will I get sick in the future or the worst. Was that the reason my son was so sick when he was born. Ugh!

That is so awful! - do you know others from the same area that you can support each other? Is anyone that brought this to light offer help of any kind?

I moved away at 6 so I don't know anyone that lived there aside from my family. The sender of the article didn't realize what they sent. All they saw was an op-ed piece on socially and environmentally irresponsible companies. I did some research but I didn't find much and I'm not sure if I trust the research anyway. Both of the offending entities are notorious for making the science fit.

Where was this and who are the companies? In the sixties in Michigan all kinds of chemical companies would just take stuff into the woods and dump it. Dow chemical in particular. No one really knows where all these sites are because they are in the middle of the woods.

Anniston, AL. The two entities responsible for the dumping are Monsanto and the US Army.
