I am so p*ss off when I say please "don't...." (I said it many many many times) , but people still do it. (people = family)
I feel very disrespected. The "words" been heard, just that it goes into left ear and exit from the right ear.

I am so p*ss when I am talking and in mid sentence they talk, I don't get to finish my sentence. Or they changed topic, etc etc....

I feel very p*ss, because I am being treated like nobody.

It's basic common manners, that everyone deserves.

Yes you are right! So next time be assertive and say, please can you let me finish what I was saying, if you say it politely and firmly, they should listen and you will gain more self-confidence. Hug

I agree a lot of good manners seem to have been forgotten. People are too busy trying to think of what they are going to say next, they can't really listen. I'm sorry you are having to go through this. My husband tends to talk over me until I remind him I didn't finish what I was saying. Ugh!!!

Hang in there.

Penguinsing, did your family "train" you to be passive? Does your being passive meet the needs of those who "run" your family?
