So I'm 26, working on school.

In many ways I don't like the way things have worked out. I want a do-over button. I want to go back to high school and pick a different life. I had so many options back then. I feel backed into a corner.

I never got out in high school, or in college... just nothing. I've been hiding in my room... dumb computers haven't helped my life either. I lost a good amount of time to them some years ago.

I'm 26... over 1/4 of my life gone (know I'm not super old) ... what do I do?

Can you sell stuff or put it into storage?

Are you on summer break so you can try out something else?

Do something different today! Use your imagination. Hop in a car and drive in one direction for 3 hours and see where it takes you. (I actually do this sometimes. ) Take whatever instrument you play and go down to the open mall and be a street performer for a few hours. Take a semester off and travel. Go skydiving. You're no where too old to give up. I'm assuming your single, childless? You've got so much still to do. It sounds cliche but it's true. Today is the beginning of the rest of your life.

Yes, this is how I feel.

I think if I went back and started again I would just make the same mistakes though.

Change your path NOW. Find something you wish you could do and try to learn to do it. Go to college (can't afford it? Ask for help from Financial Aid) or learn from home. You can learn a lot of things online and through books. Some jobs require a college degree, so if you're aiming for something like that, you should get started.

I'm twenty years older than you and let me tell you, the older you get, the harder it is to change your life, because you start seeing how few years you have left to learn, live the life you want, and still be able to physically do it.

(((sea))) Here I am feeling like my life began at 25! It might not seem like it, but you have lots of life left. Try some other courses? Take on a hobby? Go on a trip? Try a singles group? Lots of possibilities......
