Unfortunately I've just about completely lost my appetite and eating has been a four letter word for years - which I know isn't good.

Ensure seems to be one of the most reliable products on the market. However with so many different versions, which would seem to be the best to drink. And how many should I drink per day? Granted Ensure alone isn't the best way to keep my body healthy, but it seems better than nothing; and might help my depression a bit.

Thanks!

I'd go with the high protein one and take a good vitamin.

You might want to check out Atkin's drinks and bars too. I like the Daybreak Apple Crisp bars best.

Which Ensure flavor/variety is the high protein one and is the Walmart version of Men's Health daily vitamin a good one?

Yoda, where can Atkins drinks/bars be purchased? Is the Daybreak Apple Crisp part of Atkins?

Remember, I know NOTHING about food other than avoiding it.

Yes, Daybreak is part of Atkins foods. They are smaller serving than other Atkins protein bars because they are meant to be breakfast but I liked them as a snack/small meal with a glass of milk. You can find them in pharmacies/Walmart, probably online too. There are quite a number of different flavors and you will find some taste like cardboard and others are good.

Ensure has a variety of styles, it says on the bottle what kind it is, high protein, muscle builder, original and some others. I think all of them come in vanilla and milk chocolate some varieties have more choices than others. Years ago when I needed them eggnog was my favorite, I thought the chocolate taste was off and preferred vanilla but they may have improved it.
